Bartlesville’s Chloe Robbins – Softball Spotlight – Presented by Career Employment Services

Bartlesville’s Chloe Robbins

Lady Bruin varsity softball player Chloe Robbins is a senior this year and has enjoyed her final year of prep softball.

“I have played softball for fourteen years. What I love most about my teammates and team is that somebody always finds a positive in any given situation and all of us are always having fun together and making each other laugh,” said Robbins.

This season Robbins and her teammates made it to the state tournament after winning 20-plus games in the regular season. Robbins said every second was memorable and enjoyable.

“For me this season was a fun season. With it being my senior year, I felt more relaxed than any other season and was just enjoyed every second of my last season,” said Robbins.

The left fielder is involved in many other activities around campus.

“I am involved in other groups, I am involved in National Honor Society, National Technical Honors Society, Interact, and Health Occupation Students of America,” Robbins said. “I ran track my sixth grade through my junior year, but do not plan on running track my senior year.”

In the classroom, Robbins said she enjoys science, which is why she is leaning towards a degree in nursing.

“I do have a favorite subject in school. I love any science class, especially anatomy and physiology and my favorite teacher has probably been any teacher I have had at Tech,” Robbins said. “After I graduate, I plan to attend school to get my bachelor’s in nursing, and either work in pediatrics or go on to be a nurse anesthetist.

In her free time, Robbins said she enjoys reading, running and hanging out with her friends.
