2025 Hominy Bucks Football Preview

HOMINY BUCKS

Coach: CALEB CHRISTIAN

9-3

OFFENSE

The Hominy Bucks enter the 2025 season with experience, confidence, and a championship-level culture. With several key starters returning and a strong offseason in the weight room, Coach Caleb Christian believes this group has a chance to do something special. The senior class has already piled up 40 wins in their careers and is chasing the elusive 49-win mark—an accomplishment that would put them in elite company in Hominy football history. At the heart of it all is senior quarterback Blaine Hipp (6-5, 210, Sr.), a four-year starter and true competitor. Standing 6’5”, 210 pounds, Hipp is a four-sport athlete with a Division I frame and work ethic. He accounted for 18 passing touchdowns and 14 rushing scores last season, showing his ability to carry the offense in multiple ways. He’s also a vocal leader and the emotional engine of the team. Supporting Hipp is a talented backfield led by Randee Goodeagle (6-1, 190, Sr.), who had 533 yards and eight touchdowns, and sophomore standout Malakhy Harris (5-10, 182, So.), who posted 891 all-purpose yards and 7 touchdowns as a freshman. Harris is a dynamic weapon—explosive, physical, and poised to become one of the most dangerous playmakers in the state. The offensive line, anchored by JR Lookout (6-6, 260, Sr.), will be crucial in paving the way for this high-powered unit.

DEFENSE

Defensively, the Bucks return several experienced players ready to anchor a tough, physical unit. Up front, TJ Piearcy (6-3, 280, Sr.) brings veteran leadership as a three-year starter at nose guard, while William Hamilton (6-2, 250, Sr.) returns at defensive end with two years under his belt. At linebacker, Aiden Saunders (5-9, 220, Sr.) brings physicality and consistency after recording 56 tackles and 3 sacks last fall. In the secondary, Jase Parks (5-9, 150, Jr.) is a ballhawk who tallied 4 interceptions last season. His instincts and range make him a key piece in shutting down the opposition’s passing game. With a strong senior class, returning depth, and a committed coaching staff—including assistants Ed Green, Hunter Woods, Chace Green, Vance Miller, Brian Miller, and Tanner King—the Bucks are primed for another deep postseason run.
