VYPE: Kaitlynn, what grade are you in this year and how long have you been involved in cheer?
Kaitlynn Hall: I am in 11th grade. I started cheering in fifth grade. I figured out cheer was the sport for me when I cheered for my first game and competed at my first competition. I just loved everything about it!
VYPE: What are some positives you’ve seen from the squad this year?
KH: Some of the positives I see from the team are the bonds everyone has, the energy, and having each person willing to work together.
VYPE: Do you play any other sports?
KH: I do not play any other sport; cheer has always remained my main focus.
VYPE: What makes BHS a great place to be a student-athlete?
KH: I’d say having an active community for athletics helped to make Bartlesville a great place for me as a student-athlete
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
KH: The thing I love most about my teammates is everyone’s energy and what they bring to the team, I think it’s so fun.
VYPE: Which teammate keeps everyone laughing and who is the most serious?
KH: I think the person that keeps everyone on the team laughing is Remi and I think I am the most serious.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing when you have some free time?
KH: When I have downtime, I love to go shopping, spend time with family and friends, or anything cheer related!
VYPE: Who has made a big impact in your life?
KH: The people who have impacted my life both inside and outside of cheer are my cheer coaches, Hayden and Kristin and my mom as well.
VYPE: What are your plans for life after high school?
KH: My plan for after high school is to go to college so I can become an ultrasound technician and to cheer all throughout my schooling.
