Football

Maverick Lanphear and Braden Byers  – Barnsdall

Maverick is a four-year starter that has 5,500 total yards and 54 total touchdowns in three years. He is a very tough athlete that is being recruited and wants to play college baseball. Braden is also a four-year starter in football and he has accumulated over 2,000 total yards and 25 total touchdowns in his high school career. He looks to play football at the next level.

Chase Eaves – Bartlesville

He has led the team in tackles the last two years and led the team in receptions last year. Chase will have a larger impact offensively this year at wide receiver. Has a great nose for the ball and always is in position to make plays.

Seth Perkins – Caney Valley

Seth is a very good player that has been a solid contributor on both sides of the ball. It will be no surprise to see him be a top contributor to the team this season.

Kane Foreman and Weston O’Rourke – Copan

Kane is a natural leader and you can see that on the field. Smart quarterback that is accurate and limits turnovers. Weston is a very explosive playmaker that is hard to tackle. Both boys are very hard workers that put in a lot of extra work going to trainers and doing several camps.

Easton Davis – Dewey

Easton is a tremendous leader who thrives in big moments. He is an outstanding athlete that plays on both sides of the ball.

Elijah Hughes – Hominy

Elijah is a four-sport athlete. He is an outstanding athlete and is a high character kid and someone you can trust on and off the field. 

Treaver Emberson – Nowata

Treaver is a third year starting quarterback and will be the biggest part of the team’s success this year. Each year he has improved and coaches expect him to make a huge jump this year. He is a smart physical athlete and should have a great senior year.

Jake Harris – Oklahoma Union

Jake is a high character kid that is also a solid athlete. He is a hard worker and will do whatever necessary to help his team be successful.

Zander Week – Wesleyan Christian School

Zander is poised to eclipse over 100 tackles and be a pillar of the defensive line. He has been an undersized offensive lineman the past two seasons but has the opportunity to contribute this season. 

Softball

Kyla Overton – Dewey

Kyla was second on the team in average in 2023, hitting .454 with a .518 on base percentage. She had 16 doubles with three home runs. She went 14-5 in the circle with a 3.04 ERA and 134 strikeouts as a sophomore. 

Keagan Walker – Hominy

Keagan is Hominy’s starting pitcher. She has been starting since her freshman year. Very good command of her pitches and great off speed. Also bats three hole with a tremendous bat .
