Bartlesville Area Underclassmen to Watch – Presented by Ford

Boys Basketball

Jay Murguia – Dewey

Jay is a very talented and athletic freshman that will see time on the court this season. He is a smooth left-handed point guard that sees the floor well and can also shoot the ball from anywhere.

Clint Harrington – Nowata

Clint is a hard working player. His motor is running constantly and his competitive spirit runs deep. He will be Nowata’s starting post player this year and will be hard to take off the floor just because of how hard he works. He is a natural leader and pushed his teammates to be better each and every day.

Kane Nash – Oklahoma Union

Kane will be a sophomore this year. Last year he had his struggles as a freshman but got minutes and even started a couple of games throughout the year. The ceiling for Kane is very high and he’s going to have a chance to lead the team to success for years to come.

Bartlesville’s Erin Bridendolph

Girls Basketball

Lyndsi Hicks – Barnsdall

Hicks was a much needed scoring threat to go alongside Nellie Holcomb and it showed as teams struggled to make a decision on how to handle the one-two punch they provided. Lyndsi is a natural shooter that averaged ten points a game as a freshman.

Erin Bridendolph – Bartlesville

She is a freshman guard with great size and athleticism. Erin is a good ball-handler with good instincts and she plays the game with an aggressive edge that could help the Bruins in the long run.

Presley Smith – Dewey

Presley is going to be a huge part of Dewey’s success this year. Her skill set does not  represent a freshman. She loves the game and works hard at it.

Sawyer Jackson – Oklahoma Union

A sophomore, Jackson is a great kid that does the right thing even when no one is around. She is always ready to help her team in whatever way she can.
