Bartlesville Area Underclassmen to Watch
GIRLS
Shaylyn Ishem – Bartlesville HS (6-0, So.) Forward
A transfer from Dewey who played in all 24 varsity games as a freshman last season. Averaged 2.7ppg and 3.5rpg.
Addison Jones – Bartlesville HS (5-5, So.) Combo Guard
A quick combo guard who can push the pace and shoots with accuracy from 3-point range. A varsity letterman as a freshman.
Adrianna Hicks – Dewey HS (5-7, Fr.) Guard
Adrianna has a great handle of the basketball and can see the floor and get her teammates involved. She has the ability to get to her spot on the floor and pull up for a jumper and has a really good floater by using either hand.
Harper Watts – Caney Valley HS – (Fr.) Point Guard
Harper is a high-IQ point guard with the ability to score from anywhere. She is a scrappy defender and one of the most competitive players I have coached. She will be tasked with running the show for us as a freshman.
Adesta Henry – Caney Valley HS – (So.) Forward
Adesta was our team MVP last season as a freshman. She nearly averaged a double-double. Entering her sophomore season, I expect her to continue being a versatile force both inside and out.
Emillie Curry – Pawhuska HS (5-8, So.) Hybrid
A combo guard/small forward, Curry has excellent range and the ability to play multiple positions.
BOYS
Jay Murguia – Dewey HS (So.)
We are expecting big things from him this year and we know we can always count on him.
Jay is a two-sport athlete who also starts for our baseball team. All around great young man and athlete.
Preston Gipson – Caney Valley HS (5-5, So.) Guard
Very quick, great ball handler. Commands offense well.
Kade Shew – Nowata HS
