Bartlesville Area Underclassmen to Watch – Presented by Overlees-Woods Lumber Company

FOOTBALL

Michael Kent – Bartlesville

Kent started every game last season as a ninth grader, taking over as the starting quarterback for the final three games and leading the team to a 2-1 record. This offseason, he has added significant weight and strength, showing elite form at the quarterback position. With his growth and experience, Michael is poised for a strong season ahead.

Kavery Weathers – Dewey

Kavery started all eight games at cornerback as a freshman, stepping into a significant role with maturity and composure. Despite his youth, he met every expectation and fulfilled his responsibilities with excellence. Known for his impressive ball skills and sharp footwork, Kavery has earned the full confidence of the coaching staff. Everyone believes he has a bright future ahead and will continue to develop into a standout player.

Jimmy Wildcat – Pawhuska

He started as a freshman and is poised to be a dominant linebacker this season.

Caleb Woolman – Nowata

Caleb is a tremendous athlete poised to make a significant impact this year as a starter at both wide receiver and defensive back. His athleticism and versatility will allow him to contribute at a high level on both sides of the ball.

FAST PITCH SOFTBALL

Mylee Jensen – Pawhuska

Mylee is a freshman at Pawhuska High School and a right-handed pitcher known for her rising fastball and effective changeup. She possesses excellent command of her pitches, skillfully moving the ball around the strike zone to keep hitters off balance. As she continues to develop, Mylee is certainly a player to watch in the coming years.

VOLLEYBALL

Aisley Keirsey and Shalynn Conley – Bartlesville

Aisley and Shay are a pair of freshmen with exceptionally high ceilings and tremendous potential. Despite being newcomers on a team featuring 19 upperclassmen, both are poised to earn significant playing time this season. Aisley, a middle blocker, plays well beyond her years—smart, composed, and confident even as the game speeds up to the varsity level. She has already demonstrated that she is ready for the challenge. Shalynn, an outside hitter, may not have Aisley’s experience yet, but she compensates with impressive power and athleticism. Both players are exciting talents to watch and promise to be key contributors for years to come.

Marcella Willard – Dewey

Marcella is a freshman this year who combines tremendous talent with exceptional effort. She is expected to be one of the team’s leading varsity scorers across the PIN this season. With experience playing multiple positions and strong communication skills, Marcella is already making a positive impact on the court. Her bright future has everyone excited to see what she will accomplish in the years ahead.

CROSS COUNTRY

Abrielle Trease – Dewey

Abrielle consistently brings a positive attitude and a strong work ethic to both practice and meets. Her dedication and effort set a great example for her teammates. The team is excited to see how she continues to develop and what she will achieve in the future.
