Bartlesville Girls Soccer

When head coach Spencer White and the Lady Bruins take the pitch this season, it will be with high hopes of making some serious noise this season. With several key players like Lily Weimer returning in goal and an exciting crop of younger players making their presence felt, coach White believes this could be a solid season for the Lady Bruins.

“Lily Weimer is a senior keeper this year and will be looking to close out her high school career with a bang. In her previous seasons, Lily has gone above and beyond to be there for her team. She is an excellent example of what it means to be a leader and a great teammate. And she is willing to put up a fight for her team and is just as willing to offer a helping hand,” said coach White.

Weimer will play a key role in the overall success of the team. As will fellow senior Katen Bottorff. Known as a team player and someone who goes above and beyond for her teammates, Bottorff is expected to have a big season.

“Katen is the exact teammate and player you would want in a team. She is super caring about those she calls her teammates, and she is always willing to offer a helping hand no matter what. Katen is a great role-model and leader, she motivates others, and does not hesitate to reach out and help her younger classed teammates,” said White.

Another player to watch is Presli Cox. Only a sophomore this season, Cox missed some time last year as a freshman due to an injury but returns this season bringing her technical skills and high IQ to the field. Her presence will make this team better. Also look for Kinzie Doss this season. Doss is all-in for her teammates and works hard to ensure she is an asset on the field. Always encouraging to her teammates, Doss is the type of role model every coach would like to have on their team.

With several seniors on the roster, including Ava Carter, Ashlei Cough, Brooke Baker, Chloe Shahan and Sophia Roman, the Lady Bruins are poised for an excellent season. The schedule is challenging, but coach White will have the team prepared for those tough matches as the Lady Bruins look to accomplish their goals this season.
