VYPE: What grade are you currently in and how long have you been playing soccer?

Joley Erne: I am currently a sophomore in high school, and I have been playing soccer for about eight years.

VYPE: What is your favorite school subject and who is your favorite teacher?

JE: My favorite subject in school is English and my favorite teacher is Mrs. Repogle.

VYPE: What other clubs or groups are you involved in at school?

JE: My main involvement is soccer.

VYPE: What are your plans for after graduation?

JE: My plans after high school are to attend OKWU and play soccer while getting my bachelors in English education.

VYPE: Who is your favorite soccer player?

JE: My favorite soccer player is Messi.

VYPE: What position is the toughest to play on the team?

JE: The toughest position to play is the wing because of how much the players positioning and quick decisions matter for the rest of the team.

VYPE: If you could watch a match anywhere in the world where would you want it to be?

JE: If I could watch any soccer match then I would travel back in time to 2013 to watch Barcelona defeat Milan 4-0.

VYPE: What position do you play and what position would you like to play?

JE: Right now, I am playing left wing. This has been my favorite position I have played because I get to defend and bring the ball up field to the strikers. Despite the challenges that come with this position, it’s the position I enjoy playing the most.

VYPE:  Who has been a big influence in your life and why?

JE: The biggest influence in my life has been my close friends and family. My mom and dad never fail to support me, even on the bad days. My friends Kenzie Doss and Presli Cox provide great challenges and always push me to do better during high school and private training. Their high skill level gives me motivation to work harder every day.
