Chloe Robbins is not taking her senior year for granted. Playing softball is a huge part of her life and she plans to enjoy every play she has left while at Bartlesville High School. “Stop worrying about the future because worrying will notchange the outcome. Just live in the moment instead,” she says.
This season’s opening game is one Chloe will never forget. “Our energy was high, and everyone was having fun,” she says, “we played an amazing game and run-ruled a team that has beat us multiple times.”
Softball taught Chloe to be a leader. Learning how to manage situations with other people is a skill she takes off the field. “The bonds formed with your teammates and the good memories you get to carry with you,” are the best part of being on a team she says.
Chelsea Goddard is the teammate who left the biggest impression on Chloe. “She showed me that there always has to be a meaning behind everything that is done in softball, and she taught me how to address issues that may come up duringsoftball,” she said.
Chloe sends a shoutout to Chelsea and Allie. They made sure the team was prepared for them to leave last year after their graduation. She also wants to mention her friends and boyfriend for helping to keep her head straight and being there for her. Final thanks go to Brad. “I want to shoutout to Brad for being as involved in my life as you are when you don’t have to be,” said Chloe.
The person who most inspires Chloe is her mom. “My mom inspires me to be a better person and athlete daily by always being a positive and encouraging voice in whatever task I am doing,” she says.
Chloe is active in leadership organizations including the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Interact, and Health Occupation Students of America through Tri County Tech.
