VYPE: Taylor, what age did you start playing soccer?
Taylor Bradford: I started playing soccer at four.
VYPE: What position do you play?
TB: For the Bruins I am playing left back.
VYPE: What is the strength of your skill set and what have you improved on this most this
season?
TB: What I think I have improved on most this season is ball handling and being able to go
into any tackle.
VYPE: What makes BHS a great place to be a student-athlete?
TB: We have super supportive coaches and is a great place that balances sports and
studies.
VYPE: What is your biggest challenge as a high school athlete?
TB: Balancing training schedules with academic work is my biggest challenge as a high
school athlete. It requires careful time management, discipline, and the ability to prioritize
effectively to excel in both sports and academics.
VYPE: What does the support you receive from your parents and coaches mean to you?
TB: The support from my parents and coaches means the world to me. Their
encouragement and guidance provide the motivation and confidence I need to overcome
challenges, push my limits, and achieve my goals both on and off the field.
VYPE: How do you mentally prepare for competition?
TB: To prepare for a soccer game, I visualize successful plays, focus on my strengths. I also
use positive self-talk to boost my confidence and am ready to perform my best.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?
TB: What I love most about my teammates is the encouragement and positive attitudes.
VYPE: What’s your goal for life after high school?
TB: My goal for after high school is to go play soccer in college.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
TB: My brother tanner inspires me the most off the field, and my Coach Spencer White on
the field.
VYPE: What accomplishment are you most proud of as an athlete?
TB: I think I would have to say that my most proud accomplishment was being able to play
varsity as a freshman.
