CHOUTEAU-MAZIE WILDCATS
Coach: CHADD GEHRKE
2024-25 Record: 19-6
OUTLOOK
The program continues to rise under head coach Chadd Gehrke. Last season the team went 19-6 and returns the bulk of the lineup.
“Last year was my first year at Chouteau so the learning curve and the culture change got us off to kind of a slow start. Once we got things rolling, we were able to finish with a record of 19-6 and win our conference. We are returning most of our production and have young players that will make a big impact,” coach Gehrke said.
Presley Inglett (5-8, Sr.) is back after averaging 14.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. She also added 3.6 steals a game. Bristol Inglett (5-10, Jr.) averaged 13.1 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 3.8 steals a game as well. The pair will be difficult for teams to stop, forcing their opponents to pick one or the other.
Add Kaynee Alberty (5-10, Sr.) at forward and you have a trio that will give teams nightmares. Alberty averaged 4.8 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals per contest as a junior last season. Another player to watch is Peyton Blake (5-7, So.) at guard. Blake averaged 2.4 points and 1.3 rebounds a game as a freshman.
Maliya Liggins (5-7, Fr.) and Paytience Messer (5-7, So.) are two players looking to crack the starting lineup this season. Both guards are versatile enough to compete at a high level on both ends of the court.
Also look for Rylee Detweiler (5-7, So.), Addyson Still (5-9, Jr.), Tionna Battle (5-8, So.), Kara Plank (6-0, Jr.), and Rielynn Hurley (5-6, So.).
