Inola Cheer
Cheer season doesn’t just come and go once the team is done with the state competition. Many go on to compete in Game Day cheer and other competitions outside the state of Oklahoma. All while still cheering for basketball and wrestling. For Inola cheer and head coach Hilary Hobbs, competing against the best in the state only makes the team better and if things do not go their way, the opportunity to compete and improve only makes the team stronger.
“We competed in Game Day regionals. After competitions are over, we will move on to cheering for basketball and wrestling,” said coach Hobbs.
This season coach Hobbs said there were many things to enjoy about this group. Their approach to the season made it a productive one that sets the tone for future teams.
“ ”“The girls have great attitudes and are happy to show up to practice every day and work hard. Upperclassmen have played a key leadership role with seven new girls to the squad this year,” said Hobbs.
