VYPE: How long have you played basketball?
Kennedy Dalrymple: I have been playing basketball since the third grade.
VYPE: What is your position?
KD: My position is a guard.
VYPE: What first got you interested in the sport?
KD: My dad inspired me to play the sport and that is what got me interested in playing.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite memory in your time playing for Commerce?
KD: Winning the Welch tournament in sixth grade with some of my closest friends and teammates.
“ ”VYPE: Let’s talk about your teammates. Which player on your team would you not want to go up against? Who is the fastest? The loudest? Who keeps everyone laughing?
KD: I would not want to go up against Lacy Brough because she is quick on her feet. She is the fastest, loudest, and keeps everyone laughing.
VYPE: What is your go to post-game meal?
KD: My post-game meal is Reese’s cups and a Frito chili pie from the concession stand.
VYPE: Who do you look to as a role model and why?
KD: I look to my dad as a role model because he is always there to support me and teach me important values like teamwork, hustle, and perseverance.
VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school?
KD: My favorite subject is science.
VYPE: What are your plans after high school?
KD: My plan after high school is to attend MSSU.
