Q&A with Ketchum’s Erin Delp
VYPE: Erin, what do you love about this team and being a student-athlete at Ketchum High School?
Erin Delp: I love the family we have and how we all have each other’s backs.
VYPE: What grade are you in and when did you start playing softball?
ED: I am in the ninth grade, and I started playing softball in kindergarten.
VYPE: Tell us who inspires you and why?
ED: Coach Brown inspires me because she works hard and puts so much time into helping us get better.
VYPE: Coming into the season what were your expectations for the season?
ED: My expectations for this season are to grow as a team and get more confident.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject in school? What about a favorite teacher?
ED: My favorite subject is math, and my favorite teacher is Mr. Mustain.
VYPE: What position are you playing for KHS?
ED: I play centerfield.
VYPE: What clubs or groups do you participate in at school? And do you play any other sports?
ED: I’m part of Student Council and I also play basketball, run track and cheer.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing with your free time?
ED: I enjoy hanging out with my friends.
VYPE: It’s a little early, but what would you like to do once you graduate from high school?
ED: I would like to play sports in college.
