OUTLOOK

The Bears will have a familiar look this season as head coach Eddie Jones returns all of his starters from last season.

“We have everybody back from last season as we had no seniors last year. We are expecting to have three seniors this year in Jace Fent, Connor Marlow, and Gavin Sadler,” said Jones.

Jace Fent (Sr.) is known for his work ethic and motor. Fent will set the pace and returns as the team’s leading scorer from a season ago. Connor Marlow (Sr.) and Gavin Sadler (Sr.) add experience and solid defense to the starting five.

“We really believe we are better than we were a year ago, but we realize we may still have some growing pains. Our guys are really good kids and hard workers. We believe our program is headed in the right direction and are excited about the future. Our school is experiencing some growth and we may end up with an expended roster,” said Jones.

The junior class includes Traylen Robitaille, Talon Wyrick, and Jack Brechheisen. All three players will have roles on the team and provide a spark on both ends of the court. Traylen Robitaille is an exciting player that can score and push the pace.

The Bears have a huge sophomore class that includes Jaxson Billings, Gunner Jackson, Lane Handrich, Jairus Robertson, Landon Posey, Bryson Bunch, Haven Johnson, Cooper Fritchey, River Stovall, and Boston Hotulke. Both Billings and Jackson are expected to make a big impact this season after starting as freshmen last season.

Two talented freshmen in Tanner Dorsey and Connor Bruner will add to the depth as they become more acclimated to varsity play. More players could be added to the roster as the season approaches.
