ADAIR WARRIORS
Coach: BRADY BRADBURY
14-0 (State Champions)
Adair heads into 2026 as the defending unbeaten state champion and one of the most respected small-school programs in Oklahoma, but the Warriors will have a different look this fall. They graduated seven highly productive seniors who played major roles on both sides of the ball, leaving a younger core to step into the spotlight. Head coach Brady Bradbury, now in his seventh year, describes this group as sophomore and junior-heavy but believes the talent and upside are there to be “really good” again if the roster keeps improving every single day. The expectations and standard remain sky-high, and the staff will lean on returning linemen and skill talent to keep Adair in the title conversation.
Offensively, Adair returns five starters and will again run an up-tempo, multiple spread system that uses pace, formations and personnel groupings to attack defenses. Junior quarterback Kyler Green (6-7, 190), the team’s Top 100 nominee, gives the Warriors a towering presence behind center with the arm talent to push the ball vertically. Senior running back Quinton Payne (5-9, 195) provides experience and physicality between the tackles, while senior receiver Camden Ferder (6-1, 160) offers a reliable target on the perimeter. Up front, a junior trio—Braden Bendabout (6-3, 240), Cameron Carlson (6-0, 225) and Parker Blanton (6-1, 215)—anchors the offensive line and will be crucial to both protecting Green and creating run-game creases. Adair’s plan is to play fast, stay multiple and put consistent pressure on defenses, trusting its young quarterback and line to grow into larger roles as the season unfolds.
Defensively, the Warriors bring back nine starters and should be ahead of the offense early in the year. Adair will use a multiple-front approach built around being simple enough for players to play fast while remaining physical at every level. Junior strong safety Kale Rampey (6-0, 200) leads the back end, joined by junior linebackers Jaycob Graves (5-10, 200) and Garrison Huffman (5-9, 185), giving the middle of the defense toughness and experience. On the edge, sophomore defensive end Zack Wilson (6-2, 230) and senior DE Britton Kerr (6-3, 225) bring length and power, while sophomore free safety Brett Pursley (5-9, 175), adds ranginess on the back end. The Warriors want to stay sound, fly to the football and let their depth and familiarity in the scheme show up on Friday nights.
Even with key seniors gone, Bradbury likes the combination of a high-ceiling junior class, proven defenders and a quarterback with Top 100-level tools in Green. If the young offensive pieces develop on schedule, Adair has every intention of making another deep run in November.
