Northeastern Oklahoma Softball Players to Watch List – Presented by The Woodshed

Lexi Durao – Bartlesville

Durao is a great kid and she works hard. She will look to have a big season for Bartlesville.

Kyla Overton – Dewey

Kyla was second on the team in average in 2023, hitting .454 with 16 doubles and three home runs. She went 14-5 in the circle with a 3.04 ERA and 134 strikeouts as a sophomore.

Tori Gonzales – Grove

Victoria got most of the innings in the circle last year for the Ridgerunners. She gives her team a chance in every game that they play. She has good velocity and uses a deceptive chance to get batters off balance. She can control the strike zone and can get the defense off the field quickly.

Keagan Walker – Hominy

Keagan is the team’s starting pitcher this season and she has been starting since her freshman year. She is very good at commanding her pitches. Also bats in the three hole where she has a good pop on the bat.

Tobi Unrat – Inola

Will be the Longhorn’s ace in the circle this year. She always gives it her all and is a fierce competitor.

Ashlyn Potter – Kansas

Ashlyn always gives 100% effort. She works hard not only on the field but as well as in the weight room. She battled through a knee injury last season and still caught almost every inning.

Alexis Currie – Ketchum

Currie is an outstanding athlete and teammate. She will be a key player for the Warriors this season, both on defense and at the plate.

Kylie Bird – Locust Grove

She is a four year starter and has been named team MVP twice. Kylie has had a great career as both a pitcher and a hitter and this year should be no different.

Daya Boman – Quapaw

Daya, a junior, had a .506 batting average last season with 25 stolen bases. She brings speed which is a huge asset for the team. Boman is also a really great student in the classroom as well.

Brooke Phillips – Vinita

She has been the starting pitcher for three years and has really matured in throwing strikes. She has shown that she gives her team a chance every time she takes the ball.
