Bartlesville’s Hudson Eads

The Bruins enter the 2024-25 season with several players like Hudson Eads returning to the court. Eads is one of a few players head coach Tommy DeSalme will look to for quality minutes on the court and leadership on and off the floor.

Leadership is something Eads, now a junior, brings to the team every day. From his positive attitude towards his teammates to his personal beliefs off the court, Eads will play an important role for the team this season.

“I attend fellowship of Christian athletes on Friday mornings. Even though it is an early morning I enjoy being a part of this organization so I can better my relationship with Christ,” Eads said. “I love how my teammates cheer me on. I love that they push me to be better. I also enjoy my teammates off the court. We spend a lot of time together and they are definitely my basketball family.”

Coming from an athletic family, Eads understands what it takes to push yourself and that hard work will pay off in the end. The Bruins are putting in the hard work with the expectation of growing as a team and getting better with each outing. Eads will play guard again this season giving the Bruins experience and athleticism at the position. For Eads, competing and representing BHS is what it’s all about. Look for Eads and the Bruins to battle in some tough games this season as they continue their efforts to get Bruin basketball back on track.
