Q&A with Claremore’s Addison Doyle
VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Claremore HS and how long have you played volleyball?
Addison Doyle: I just love the environment that we have created at Claremore for student- athletes. Teachers are always willing to work with you and your schedule. I’ll be an incoming junior and I have been playing volleyball for around eight years.
VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school and do you have a favorite teacher?
AD: My favorite subject is definitely math, and my favorite teacher is Mrs. Beasley.
VYPE: What part of your game is most improved coming into this season?
AD: My blocking for sure has been my most improved skill during this past offseason.
VYPE: Jump serve or standing serve? Which do you prefer and why?
AD: Jump serve, I feel like jump serving just gives you a step up in your game and gives your opponent’s more of a challenge.
VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?
AD: I love how supportive my teammates are and how we are all bonded together.
VYPE: What teammate is always going to the floor for a dig?
AD: Definitely Madison Godding.
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life? Explain.
AD: Either my Mom or Grandpa. They are always pushing me to be the best I possibly can, and they are always supporting me every chance they get.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
AD: I definitely enjoy hanging out with friends on the weekends, shopping, or sleeping.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?
AD: I would love to go play college volleyball somewhere and get my bachelors to become an ultrasound technician.
