Q&A with Pryor’s Kailee Ross – Presented by Rhett Minson – State Farm

VYPE: Kailee, what grade are you in this year?

Kailee Ross: I am currently in the 11th grade.

VYPE: When did you start cheering?

KR: I began cheering in the 7th grade.

VYPE: What do you love most about being a Pryor cheerleader?

KR: What I love most about my team is the hard work and dedication, and our ability to adapt and find solutions when facing challenges.

VYPE: What other activities are you involved in at PHS?

KR: In addition to cheerleading, I am involved in the National Honor Society and the Cosmetology program at Northeast Tech.

VYPE: What is your role on the cheer squad?

KR: On the team, my roles include basing and sign work.

VYPE: What are your plans for life after graduation?

KR: After graduation, I plan to attend the University of Oklahoma to major in psychology, or attend a college where I can continue cheerleading while pursuing a degree in psychology. I also intend to work as a hairstylist.

VYPE: How do you like to spend your free time?

KR: In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and long-distance friends, as well as dedicating myself to improving my cheerleading skills.

VYPE: Who inspires you?

KR: My dad is a significant source of inspiration in my life. He consistently encourages me to pursue my passions. When I received my first college invitation for cheer, he ensured that I would be able to attend.

VYPE: What lessons have you learned as a cheerleader that you can use in life?

KR: Being on a cheer team has taught me the importance of discipline, dedication, and managing pressure to achieve success.
