9 Questions with Bartlesville’s with Remi Hagen – Presented by Sand Creek Bridal

VYPE: What grade are you in this year and how long have you been a cheerleader?

Remi Hagen: I am in10th grade and I have been cheering for seven years, whether it be competitive cheer or high school varsity cheer. 

VYPE: Which teammates have impressed you this season?

RH: My teammate that has impressed me this year is Cassie Snead because of how fast she is learning for never cheering before.

VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?

RH: My favorite subject in school is definitely math! My favorite teacher is 100% Ms. Harper.

VYPE: Who on the team keeps everyone laughing, is the most serious, and has the best impression of your coach?

RH: Normally I’m the one making everyone laugh but if I had to choose, I’d say Cassie Snead. For the most serious that would be Kaitlyn Hall and the best impression of the coach is Veronica McGill because that’s the coach’s daughter.

VYPE: What do you love most about your teammates?

RH: The thing I love most about my teammates is that everyone knows how to be a team even when we are having differences, we all pull together. 

VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?

RH: My plans after I graduate are to go to OU and be a D1 Cheerleader. I want to go into the medical field to be an anesthesiologist. 

VYPE: Name three people you would want with you in a zombie apocalypse?

RH: Cassie Snead, Kadence Barrnet, Kamryn Dyer.

VYPE: What is your job on the cheer squad?

RH: I am a flyer and I tumble for the team.

VYPE: How much time do you spend practicing before the school year even starts?

RH: I practice every single day school cheer and competitive cheer in the summer and during school. I really have no off-season for cheer. I practice in the morning for high school and in the evenings for competitive cheer.
